Ms Breen’s class planted bulbs in the first term and they’ve now grown into beautiful daffodils. The children were delighted.

• The Child Protection Policy is currently under review by the BOM. The Anti-Bullying Policy is next on the agenda for review. Policies will be available on the school website once the BOM has approved them.
• The BOM has approved late opening of the school on mornings of adverse weather conditions.
• First Aid Training for staff members has been approved by the BOM.
• Parents are to be informed of amounts of money raised due to Fund-raising events and also expenditure of such funds.
• The BOM would like to offer best wishes to Mr Power and his 6^th class on 4^th March at their Confirmation.
• Application for Teacher Exchange has been sanctioned by BOM.

The overall prize winner and right on trend was Jack Duggan. Well done to all who took part and a special thanks for all your donations. It is much appreciated.

Well done to our 4th class boys who represented our school in an indoor hurling blitz in Whitechurch.

The boys and girls from 5th and 6th class took part in a basketball blitz today in Neptune Stadium and Parochial Hall – they had a great day and represented the school exceptionally well. Thank You to Mr Power who organised our teams.

Students have been busy baking in the build up to pancake Tuesday! Many classes have already made them and Junior Infants are looking forward to taking their turn tomorrow morning!
