On behalf of the Board of Management I would like to congratulate the pupils, staff, parents and Parents Association of Scoil Ghleanna Maghair Ìochtaraigh for the wonderful celebration of First Holy Communion in St. Joseph’s church this morning.

It was clear that all involved worked very hard to make this day a meaningful and holy day in the lives of the children and their families.

Everything from church decor, to singing & music, readings, prayers and behaviour was so so good – well done.

Well done also to all involved in putting on the fabulous refreshments in the school afterwards – it is nice to relax and chat after the ceremony.
